A day of crafts and the countryside at Cogges Manor Farm

On Bank Holiday Monday Cogges Manor Farm opened its doors to the public and had a day of crafts and countryside. Of course Winnie-The-Pooh and his friends were going to be there!

Members of the Oxford Spires Rotary set up their gazebo and offered the families attending the open day a chance to play classic fete games. People were playing Splat-The-Rat, Lolly Treasure Island, Lucky Dip, and Hoopla. These fete games offered children a chance to play traditional games for fun prizes.

Alongside these games, club members took the time to promote the upcoming World Poohsticks Championships. They were handing out flyers, mini flags and mini poohsticks to children and parents. These brought a smile to people’s faces. There was also a surprize visit from the 2017 Poohsticks Champions, who popped over to say hello and to say that they’re looking forward to the 2018 championships.

Cogges Manor Farm will be hosting another Bank Holiday event on Monday 28th May and members of Oxford Spires Rotary will be there with their fun selection of fete games.

There is still time to register your team for the Team Games.
