We have a few more activities confirmed for our Championships on 7th June.
We will have a bouncy castle for the children (sorry no adults), Jane will be back again this year with her great display of fudge and toffee, and both the RSPB and the RNLI will come along and set up stalls to tell you about their activities and to raise some funds for their important work.
This event has supported the RNLI right since the championships started in 1984. We may be right in the centre of the country, and most of us will know the RNLI for its sea rescue teams, lifeboats and stations, but the charity is still active inland particularly with its Flood Rescue teams. Read more about this great charity at www.rnli.org.
The RSPB joined us at the championships last year for the first time so we are delighted that they will be returning. If we are lucky they may even help us keep the ducks away from the Pooh Sticks! Read more about the RSPB’s work at www.rspb.org.uk.
